The Various Methods of Escape

'The Various Methods of Escape' made its international debut in London following a sold out run in Australia. Written by Amber Spooner and directed by Liviu Monsted of Mon Sans Productions, the play follows a family struggling to heal after their eldest daughter, kidnapped and held hostage for 13 years, is unexpectedly returned home. Themes of grief, loss, and emotional suppression are explored over the two-act play as each family member confronts their own trauma – some more visceral than others.
